City security camera goes up (Parksville Qualicum Beach News)

A security camera has been installed to monitor a public area in Parksville’s downtown core. It is hoped it will help curb vandalism and can be used as a tool to identify wrongdoers in an area identified as troublesome by the local RCMP detachment.
